Final on 5 women in different personalities
This was a challenge, because I only had 3 days to finish and had a lot of other work to do! This is my attempt to paint in photoshop. Still don't like working of the wacuum Bamboo tablet, maybe one day the price of the Cintiqe screens will go down in price. Well any critiques are welcomed, I have to copy this up for my client and met him after his base ball game!

5 women Illustrated in different personalities
This project is a big risk for me to take on, but I decided to paint it all digital in photoshop. I sketched out the persons separately and then scanned them in. I duplicated the layer of the drawing and then selected the new layer!. I then selected the old drawing layer and made it invisible by clicking the eye on the layer controls. Then I made a new file and added all the people the way I wanted them laid out on the screen, and then I sent a e-mail to my client for approval. He like it but wanted wanted me to add some ruby red rings on there fingers, a table with martini glasses. The back ground I am thinking should be a dark wine red- indian color with a Oil brush texture to convey the idea with ruby red rings theme?
Here is my question to any other artist or designer reading this knowledgeable of photoshop: When I am done with this under painting, how do I save my paint layer as normal, and then the drawing as multiply if I lust want to glaze on my basic toned colors, and then when I want to get be be bolder paint in normal mode? With the options of brush pen selected should I have the settings as other dynamics, Shape dynamics, smoothing and protect texture to make a acrylic or oil painted look?
Remember If you don't ask you will never learn and eveolve! If you are reading this Teacher Jason Seiler maybe you can respond to this request also. I am not embarrassed to ask for help!Thank You again.

Schoolism assignment 1 Sketches
Here is the progrees on my first assignment with Schoolism.com "Caricature art with Jason Seiler" We are to draw 3 diffrerent regular people in different angles or one angle of each. Then to top that off....surprise you will have to check back by the 26th of April.! That is when the first deadline is comming up. I really like my new lap drawing board, and it has pockets under neith! This class is a great investment to my portfolio. I have such an urge to add shading with water color or something but I am holding off, because my wonderful wife debbie is always has the brains. She said to stick to the assignment and then later you can go back and add what ever you want!! You what do all you think, can't water colors, color pencils, gouache washes be considered part of sketching?

My inspiration after watching "sketching with Jason Seilers" Dvd
Yesterday I received my DVD from Jason Seiler. I became aquinted with this artist plus many more such as Fred Harper, etc. I am very pleased to announce that I will be taking the http://www.schoolism.com online class with Jason Seiler starting on July 16th. I haven't been in College since Ringling College of Art & Design which I am always extreamly greatful for my Father Bill Robinson for helping me with my B.F.A. in Illustration and he is currently putting his three other kids through SCAD college. This new adventure would not have been possible unless a anonimous donater from my church at Grace, and my supportive wonderful mother in Sweden. I did fill out and pay for my application with SCAD online masters degree in Illustration, but me and my family decided we need to focus on my son Sean who is now 10 and try to save for his collage! I the mean while I pray that god will open doors for me with publications and the jobs keep rolling in. Dear God thank you for answering my prayers and please watch over my family and that you will continue to protect us! Here are some sample sketches I did last night!
