Final Obama Painting

Well this painting for schoolism.com is finally done on my end I have been tweaking it and spending alot of time on it! I am always open for comments or suggestions to improve it. I know Jason Seiler is a great teacher and friend, and I will never forget my experiences I have had on the www.Schoolism.com and JS class! If anyone wants to sign up please let them know I referred you ( I receive discounts towards other classes) I really want to take Steven Silvers Character Animation classes, and all of the classes if I could! I really recommend this Class with Jason, and I now really feel more confident to send out promo pieces from my work made from this course after I look back at the recommended changes and do some of them, but ultimately I have grown as my own artist and really believe I have learned alot from this experience!

Landscaping Design

It was nice for a change to have something other than people to draw, here is a mock up idea for a friend of my how has a lawn cutting and landscaping business. drawn in sketchbook pro and the colored in photoshop.

Two different layouts for my Obama and BP cover

I am having a hard time deciding witch pose and layout looks the best and then I will sketch it up and paint it in photo shop. My assignment calls for figuring out a famous person or politician and getting his likeness and then put him in a situation. I have decided to have president Obama on the beach with him having to pull a bp sign out of the oil on the ground. He will have a very discussed or worried face and body pose. There will also be dead fish and oiled up birds around him. I don't usually do collages like this for my Ideas, but I really wanted visually make sure the lighting, enviroment and body works with the head before the next step of sketching it before my deadline on July 5th! CAN I PLEASE AHAVE SOME FEED BACK ON WHICH ONE WORKS BEST AND MAYBE WHAT I COULD DO IMPROVE IT THANK YOU!

We always work right next to each other at the pier 60 he spray paints  and do the Caricatures. We also go to movies, coffee shops and draw together! I decided to sketch him Charcoal paper, really please with how it came out! I hope you all enjoy!
