Tracey Iverson Manager of Isca

I have been part of the ISCA Caricature organization since 1998, and when I heard our manager Tracey Iverson was stepping down, I just had to show my gratitude and recognition for a job well done with our organisation. You will be missed, and some hard shoes to fill!

My professor Mike Hodges painting and Fiore Custode Retirement party

I was able to go to Fiore Custode retirement party at Ringling College of Art and Design. He taught there for 50 years and also went to the college! I also really enjoyed seeing my other teachers that taught me while I went there from 1990-94. Here is a sketch painting I did of my most strickt and hardest professor Mike Hodges.

Painting of Mike Hodges by: Lars-Erik Robinson

The art below is by Fiore Custode

Andy Serkis

I thought it would be appropriate to show you my step-by-step with painting my Andy Serkis.
I have been struggling with finding my style with the involving the new digital medium in photoshop. I really like to sketch right with pencil first, pen and Ink, water color, gouache, and then digital. Now I know the step of Pen and Ink is a step that is now needed for tighter work with less lines because everything will be painted over! I hope you like that I share my progress in this painting. Every week on Caricaturama Showdown we 3000+ artist all pick the same famous person and Caricaturize our own interpretation, and here is mine!

I hope everyone as a really great Thanks giving holiday and I pray everyone realizes the real meaning of christmas and it doesn't get barried under all the stress of the shopping etc.! Leave comments I love to fellowship! Peace

Gary Value Study

This is my Value study painted in photoshop and it was off a sketch done by my Teacher Jason Seiler. References were given to create a full value study from and to learn how to look at the values within a shape. I worked right up to a minute it was due and I hope I was successful with the assignment, but I am also hoping to find improvements in my work! Please feel free to comment on the work! Thank You and goodnight
