The Cru Experience

The Campus Crusade Missions College students groups CRU meets every year on Clearwater Beachto spread the gospel, they worship at my Church at Grace Christian Fellowship, and they hung out a lot at Pier 60,  just like I do when I draw Caricatures. When I was asked by one of the x leaders to capture the memories of their time I was indeed humbled.

I was asked to make a gift including David Crowder musician, and I decided to include my great friend, associate Pastor, and youth leader at my home church at Grace Christian Fellowship at his pulpit in the background. It was his birthday and my wife asked me to do a this for him! He works very hard and I am so thankful for his leadership of my sons spiritual walk with Jesus! I was able to work on this in between other projects. I would like so more time to do some details, but I also wanted to leave it painterly. I am thinking of making prints and using this for my post card promotions, what do you all think is it good enough to use as a promotional material?

gRACE Car Show

It was a great turn out for gRACE car show at Grace Christian Fellowship, it was an honor to draw there today! I donated my time and talent because I am greatful that God has given me a talent to be able to spread the word while I am drawing my guest. The Isca Convention is starting soon at the Tradewinds on St Pete beach on November 17-22. I will bee sharing a separate post daily on that so keep in touch! God bless

in memory of great friend John R. House

John House was a faithful Christian, popular architect, supporter of my art. He always hugged me and asked me how I was, and loved my art and sketches done during bible studies. He gave a note before he passed and I called the number not remembering why he wanted me to call? I will always wonder why he wanted me to call and when I did call it was his daughter, and she didn't know what he wanted?
I feel great sorrow for not being able to visit him and find out what he wanted from me. I am also so grateful he is now.free and doing what ever he wants to do! I know he loved Jesus Christ and I sure hope I will found out what he wanted in heaven.

My inspiration after watching "sketching with Jason Seilers" Dvd

Yesterday I received my DVD from Jason Seiler. I became aquinted with this artist plus many more such as Fred Harper, etc. I am very pleased to announce that I will be taking the http://www.schoolism.com online class with Jason Seiler starting on July 16th. I haven't been in College since Ringling College of Art & Design which I am always extreamly greatful for my Father Bill Robinson for helping me with my B.F.A. in Illustration and he is currently putting his three other kids through SCAD college. This new adventure would not have been possible unless a anonimous donater from my church at Grace, and my supportive wonderful mother in Sweden. I did fill out and pay for my application with SCAD online masters degree in Illustration, but me and my family decided we need to focus on my son Sean who is now 10 and try to save for his collage! I the mean while I pray that god will open doors for me with publications and the jobs keep rolling in. Dear God thank you for answering my prayers and please watch over my family and that you will continue to protect us! Here are some sample sketches I did last night!

Wifes B-day and later drew our Obama President

I have had a busy weekend, which started me off with on Saturday morning cooked breakfast for our men's Bibles study. Then I went to Freedom Square to chef from 10-5pm, and then I had to run of to the Tropical stadium for a volenteer event to draw Caricatures for a wine tasting and auction for the Abilities Foundation! Thank You again Frankie Delushia from Chi Chi rodrigas Golf academy! That next morning on Sunday me and my great and wonderful family was of to Grace Christian Fellowship for a really great day at church, with our verse by verse study in the book of Esther! Every first Sunday I am at the St Pete Pier from 1-4pm, which I felt this day was a very entertaining event! My wifes 41st. Birthday is also today and we had some great Steak, and fish! Later that evening I started Practicing President Obama to be featured in my synopsis for my "hopefully" new "How to draw Caricatures from a photo book" that I have been approuched by a publishing agent in the UK "Quatro". Please pray for me that I will find a way to pull this off and represent the Caricature artist community in the most accurate and educational way possible!
